We select a list of events, experiences, and tours that are hosted by our friend network across the city so that you can get a pulse of how young, social Kathmandu lives.

  • We bake our bread, roast our coffee, and source all our produce from local farms. Free breakfast and free walking tours are our way to bring people together.

  • We are rooted where we are. We host several walking tours in our neighborhood to showcase the ambition and culture of our area. We highlight local businesses – in both our procurement and as active experiences – to support economy that is based on short supply chains and camaraderie.

  • We are located in Kupondole, a peaceful area just leisurely 15mins walk away from ancient Patan with its wide courtyards, narrow alleys, and stunning monasteries. We encourage our guests to head out on long walks, eat at hundreds of local cafes, explore Patan, venture into the low-key expat Jhamel, and cab away to vibrant touristy Thamel. There is a charm to it all if you quickly learn how to navigate the trodden. Just ask us for more information.Public transportation is cheap, plenty, and just a 2-min walk away; it doesn’t offer much personal space, but a lot of social adventure! Taxis are plenty and reasonable, while ride-sharing apps allow you to shuttle around on motorbikes with some of the nicest, fastest people on the road!
